URGENT: Construction Notice

Due to the COVID-19 shutdown, materials needed to proceed with the installation of the waterline has fallen behind their scheduled delivery date. To maintain their construction schedule, HDCC has needed to move to different project areas while waiting for its shipments. Starting Tuesday, May 26th, HDCC will be working on 2nd Street reinforcing existing utilities between UH Urban Garden and Lehua Avenue. Work will be done in the roadway and include traffic controls and parking restrictions as noted on the construction flyer attached. Flyers were mailed last week to those heavily affected in the immediate project area. We appreciate everyone's patience while we continue to work through these unprecedented times.
